The holiday season is coming! This time of the year is one of my favorite, especially now! Probably because now I have my own little family and it's exciting to create our own traditions. Today, I wanted to create a makeup look for the holidays, but a simple and soft makeup look that could work for every occasion.

ON MY FACE

You know that I always use the same products for my base. So you won't be surprised to see me using the old  Healthy Mix foundation from Bourjois, mixed with the Photoready Skinlight Highlighter from Revlon. The only difference is that I'm using a shade lighter of the highlighter. This summer, I was using a warmer shade, but now my skin tone is quite pale so I like to use a pink undertone shade. Also, I took the time to prime my face before the foundation, using the Photoready Prime + Antishine Primer from Revlon (I made a review about it).

To correct my dark circle and hide my old scars, I'm still using the Bobbi Brown Corrector in the shade "Light Peach". This corrector is perfect to hide any dark circle, he's so thick and high coverage that you don't need a lot. I combined it with my new NARS Creamy Concealer (in the shade "Custard").

OK, let's take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this baby. This is a new limited edition Hourglass Palette. Such a gorgeous palette! I won't talk about it too much because I'm gonna do an entire review about it soon. I used the "Dim Light" Ambient Powder to set and highlight my base, and the shade "Diffused Light" to highlight my undereye area, my chin and the center of my forehead. I also used the "Luminous Bronze Light" Ambien Bronzer to give my skin a bit of sun, and the "Mood Exposure" Ambient Blush on the apples of my cheeks. Finally, I used the "Iridescent Light" Ambient Powder to highlight the cheeks and under my browbone. This is the perfect palette!

ON MY EYES

Again, nothing very complicated. I wanted to create something very subtle, so I only used three eyeshadows. The first one is a cream one from FLOWER Beauty in the shade "Awesome Blossom". This shade is so gorgeous, it's a beautiful copper with a hint of red/burgundy in it. I applied it on my entire lid as a base. Then I mixed two eyeshadows from my Tarte Tartelette Palette: "Dreamer" wich is a dark and warm brown and "Wanderer" wich is a lighter and colder brown. I applied the majority of the color in the outer corner of my eyes and blended the excess is the crease, just to add a bit of dimension. Then I applied a light coat of the Lash Sensational Mascara from Maybelline.

ON MY LIPS

I took the time to moisturize my lips with the Rêve de Miel Lipbalm from NUXE. This creates a nice a soft base for a more intense lipstick. Yes, this makeup is soft, but I wanted to add a bit of punch to it with a bright lipstick. Of course, you can use a nude one if you want, but right now I'm just in a "Fuchsia Lipstick" phase.I chose a new baby in my collection, the Rouge Crème Le Marc from Marc Jacobs, in the shade "Boy Gorgeous". This shade is a dream for me! I love wearing bright fuchsias all year long, and I think this color is just perfect for every occasion, every season, and every skin tone.

And you, what is your favorite lipstick for the holiday season?
