I am a girl who loves to coordinate my lips and my nails. I know, it can sound extreme, but I just like to have a bit of harmony in my looks (no need to have the exact same color!). With that being said, since my last post was about lipsticks appropriate for work, it seemed logical to do another post dedicated to nail polishes. I also plan to do the same series for the holiday season so don't hesitate to tell me in the comments if you're interested.

THE NUDES

Nudes are always in trend to go to work! They are subtle and very versatile (same as lipsticks). There are also very chic and classic, and it's probably why we often wear them. I selected two for today's post, and both are probably my most worn nail polishes! The first one is "Checkmate" from Revlon. You can read the review I made by clicking on this link. The second one is "Doutzen's Nude" from L'Oréal. I recently felt in love with their nail polishes and since then my collection keeps growing... I love the texture and the application is sooo easy! This one in particular, is gorgeous, it's a beautiful light purple/lilac, very chic!

THE DELICATES

Pink nail polishes are also pretty popular for work, they are nice and delicate, but a little more feminine and romantic than the nudes. The first here is "How Romantic" from L'Oréal. I talk about this one a bit more in details in this post. The second nail polish is "CardShark" from Revlon. This one is my latest gift to myself and even if I didn't wear it a lot, I think it's such a gorgeous color! I'll say that this is a light Barbie pink, but a bit more muted.

THE AUDACIOUS

By audacious, I mean a little more intense. Obviously, depending on the job you have, you might have more or fewer restrictions. I personally don't have much, but I don't think it would be a good idea to wear electric blue or green nail polishes. The first is "Angora Cardi" from Essie. I'm not a big fan of Essie nail polishes, but their colors are so gorgeous that sometimes I can't help myself but buy one. This color is just sublime. I talk about it more in details in this post. The last one is from Revlon again, and the shade is "Bewitching". I love this color (I made an more detailed review here)!

And you, what are your favorite nail polishes for work?
