Makeup Inspiration : Lily Collins

Lily… What a beautiful name! I am a true fan of Lily Collins! When many young actresses stand out by partying, wearing sexy outfits and a lot of makeup, Lily is always fresh, chic, never vulgar. Her makeup looks are always characterized by bold lips, long lashes and obviously her thick eyebrows. So today, I am inspired by Lily to create this makeup look.
Base : I use the primer Clean Slate Poreless from Tarte to even my pores and mitigate some of my acne scars. Then I apply the Rimmel London Wake Me Up foundation with the Zoeva 102 brush. The goal is to buff the foundation into the skin to make it as natural as possible. Then, I apply some corrector/concealer. I always apply it after the foundation because it allows me to put less on my face (the foundation has already hidden some imperfections). The corrector that I use is the Ready, Set, Gorgeous of Covergirl. To illuminate my face, and to make me look a little bit more awake, I apply the Maybelline Age Rewind in the inner corner of the eye, on the bridge of the nose and between the eyebrows. I love this concealer, it’s not very thick, but its illumination effect is magical! Lily has a pale skin, and seems, most of the time, to not wear any bronzer, so we’ll just apply a bit of blush. I chose the Revlon Cream Blush in the shade Charmed Enchantement.

To keep all in place for the day and avoid turning into a disco ball (my skin is on the greasy side of the force…), I use the Revlon PhotoReady powder. I love this powder because it controls the shine while remaining natural.

Eye/Brows : For eyebrows, I like to use a powder because I find that the result is softer and more natural than with a crayon. Since Lily use to make her eyebrows a central point of her looks, I chose a color slightly darker than usual. Then the eyes! Because the eyebrows and lips are intense, the eyes must be really light. So I apply a light brown eyeshadow on the entire eyelid and a slightly darker brown in the crease. In added a little champagne eyeshadow in the inner corner of the eye to awaken them, and a light eyeliner close to the lashes. Obviously, my lashes are curled (crucial step for me because my lashes are growing down) and covered by several coats of mascara (Covergirl LashBlast Fusion).

Lips : My favorite part! I have chosen the Rimmel Moisture Reniew lipstick in the shade As You Want Victoria, one of my favorite shade of lipstick!

Do you have any celebrities that you would like I reproduce the makeup look?
